Matt Jackson Comments on AEW Revolution 2026 Was Maybe Most Emotional Day of The Young Bucks’ Career
This past Sunday’s AEW Revolution 2026 event in Los Angeles, California featured FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) defeating The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship. This match was notable for the Young Bucks’ children being part of the entrance for their match.
A recent episode of Being The Elite featured The Young Bucks reflecting on their match at AEW’s Revolution 2026 event and Matt Jackson’s thoughts about how it was maybe the most emotional day in their wrestling careers.
Nick Jackson – “We went to many wrestling shows prior, years ago in this same exact building. WrestleMania 21, I want to say. And that was 20-something years ago.”
Matt Jackson – “And to do it all tonight with our kids, their cousins, our family. We have 30 people coming here tonight. It’s going to be a big, emotional day. I think we may be a mess. Maybe the most emotional day of our career, possibly. I have nerves that I don’t normally have. I always have butterflies, but they’re fluttering around a lot today. So it’s going to be a big night for us.”

Deonna Purrazzo Comments on Her Wanting To Team Up with Britt Baker & Renegade Twins in AEW
Fightful held a recent interview with AEW talent and ROH Women’s Pure Champion Deonna Purrazzo. One of the topics discussed included Purrazzo’s thoughts about who would she want to be potential partners if she were to ever pursue the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship.
“I love the whole concept of Vendetta so much. But I think another natural answer, and she’s not on TV right now, is Britt Baker. I think there’s so much history naturally between the two of us that you don’t necessarily need to produce the vignettes for people to understand. I think another person, this is kind of out of left field, but the Renegade Twins. I like to say that they’re my younger sisters because if you look at me and Charlette we actually look more alike than her and Robin do.”
Purrazzo also gave her thoughts about how she had tried to get TNA Wrestling to sign the Renegade Twins a few years ago.
“I love them. I think that when the world gets to see them as a full package, because I wanted them to come into TNA back when I was still there and we had the tag division. They had a tryout in Atlanta and I was begging, ‘Sign them, sign them, sign them.’ Literally weeks later, they were signed at AEW. So I just am excited to see what their future holds. But I also claim them as my younger sisters.”
