Current Plans for WWE WrestleMania 42 Card Size
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials currently have working plans for their WrestleMania 42 event on April 18-19 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada to feature 14 total matches accross both nights.
It was reported that WWE officials have additional matches in the works that have not yet been publicly announced.
WWE currently has twelve matches scheduled for their upcoming two-night event.

- Undisputed WWE Championship – Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes (c)
- WWE World Heavyweight Championship – Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk (c)
- WWE Women’s Championship – Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill (c)
- WWE Women’s World Championship – Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer (c)
- WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder match – Dragon Lee vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Rusev vs. JD McDonagh vs. vs. Penta (c)

Backstage Update on When Gunther vs. Seth Rollins Match Plans for WrestleMania 42 Were Finalized
As noted before, this past Monday’s WWE RAW show at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York featured a singles match of Gunther vs. Seth Rollins being among the new matches announced for this month’s WrestleMania 42 event. WWE’s plans for the Gunther vs. Rollins match were later revealed to not have been due to Bron Breakker’s current injury situation.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials had finalized their plans for the Gunther vs. Rollins match one week before the March 30th episode of WWE RAW.
It was reported that Paul Heyman is not planned to be in Gunther’s corner for his upcoming match against Rollins.
In regards to the decision for the match, those spoken to reportedly stated that this was not a unanimous decision backstage due to some wanted Rollins to wrap up his rivalry with The Vision while others just wanted Gunther to be on the card for WrestleMania 42.
Eli Knight Gets New WWE Ring Name
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE has recently made a ring name change for NXT talent Eli Knight.
It was reported that Knight will now be going under the new ring name of EK Prosper going forward in the company.
In regards to the reason for the name change, it was reported that the internal belief within WWE was that Eli Knight was too similar to LA Knight considering LA Knight also used to go by the ring name of Eli Drake.
WWE had filed a trademark for “EK Prosper” on March 31st.
