Lil Yachty Responds To Criticism Of His Involvement at April 3rd WWE SmackDown Show & WrestleMania 42 Season
This past Friday’s WWE SmackDown show in St. Louis, Missouri featured rapper Lil Yachty making a guest appearance. Lil aligned himself with Trick Williams for Williams’ feud with Samia Zayn for the WWE United States Championship for WrestleMania 42.
In a response to a user who posted an AI created version of the men’s WrestleMania 42 promotional poster with all of the wrestlers replaced with Jelly Roll, Pat McAfee, IShowSpeed, Yachty, and Tom Brady, Lil Yachty responded on Twitter about the online criticisms towards him and other celebrities who have been featured in high-profile roles on WWE programming and involvement in this year’s WrestleMania event.
“I understand yall upset but don’t try and step on my fucking moment, i’m at the tv screen every monday and friday religiously. i’ve been to more ple’s than most. i probably know more history than most of yall. who’s to say i don’t deserve to be apart of something i love so dearly?”

WWE Reportedly Not Giving Comp Tickets for WrestleMania 42
As noted before, WWE’s current ticket sales for both nights of WrestleMania 42 on April 18-19 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada has still been moving at a sluggish pace compared to last year’s WrestleMania 41 event at the same location. WWE’s total ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 was around 18.8% lower as of this past Friday.
The Wrestling Observer’s Bryan Alvarez reported that despite WWE having Pat McAfee reference and make fun of WrestleMania 42’s lower than expected ticket sales during this past Friday’s WWE SmackDown show, his sources stated that WWE is still not giving out comp tickets when asked for their upcoming event.
“WWE still claiming at least to a lot of people that there are no comps this year even though they’re making fun of their own low attendance on Smackdown.”
