AEW World Trios Championship
The Dogs (Clark Connors, Gabe Kidd, & David Finlay) vs. JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey) & Mistico (c)

We’re kicking off the action with the World Trios Titles on the line as we head to ringside, where The Dogs make their entrance followed by the champions, the latter coming out to Mistico’s super bangin’ CMLL theme. We see Gabe Kidd mouthing off at Tony Schiavone on commentary as the champs head to the ring to get this match underway!

We start things with Finlay and Mistico, the latter getting blindsided by Kidd as Finlay attacks his partners on the apron. David sends the luchador to the outside where Connors joins in, as Kidd brigns Bailey into the ring. Kidd leaves the ring and Connors attacks Bailey from behind before Mistico and Finlay return to the ring. Clark leaves the ring, allowing Finlay and Mistico to go at it before the luchador sends David to the outside.

Connors attacks him, only to be sent out as well before Kidd goes after the champion. Connors and Knight come in, followed by Finlay and Bailey as all six competitors go at it. Bailey ends up sending Kidd out and Knight takes care of Connors with a cross body, as Mistico drops on Finlay with a torneo.

Bailey sends Gabe into the barricade as Mistico goes after Finlay, sending him into the announce table. Bailey sends Kidd into another guardrail, and the champs are in control as they regroup in the ring. Set of tags is followed a by a dive attempt, but that is stopped by the Dogs as they bring the champs to the outside, dropping them to the floor as we go to ad break!

Back in the ring, the legal men are Knight and Finlay as the latter sends Kevin to the ropes before dropping him to the canvas. The momentum is enough to drop Finlay as well, and Mistico manages to get the tag as he goes off on Finlay and Connors who runs in, only to be sent out by the luchador. This allows the champs to hit the ropes for a tope onto the challengers (with Mistico nearly snagging his boot on the top rope, as he is want to do)…despite all this, the Dogs manage to turn it around, sending Knight and Mistico back in the ring to drop them hard! Nearfall gets broken up just in the nick of time.

Knight with a tag and he takes Finlay down, looking for a UFO Splash. Connors tries to interfere and gets locked in La Mistica by Mistico, and Bailey sets Finlay up for the UFO Splash by Knight…who lands on David’s knees! Kidd comes in to lay out the champs, but Knight fights back enough for a tag to Speedball. Kidd takes a kick from the champ but a distraction from Connors and Finlay allows Gabe to land a German suplex…before Bailey counters for a nearfall!

The Dogs take out Knight and Mistico before setting Bailey up for a piledriver by Kidd, followed by a delayed suplex into a spear by Connors, and all this is enough to put Speedball down for three! We have new trios champions!

Winner: The Dogs via Pinfall to become the new AEW World Trios Champions.

The new champs have their celebration cut off by Roderick Strong and Orange Cassidy appearing on screen from backstage. They let the Dogs know there’s a challenge set for Sunday, but Orange apparently “forgot” to ask whoever he was on the phone with. He starts to call back before Strong promises that he is in, before they walk off.

Video: Will Ospreay, United Empire

With that, we cut backstage for some words from Will Ospreay alongside United Empire after their match at Dynamite. He hypes up his brothers, before the new IWGP Heavweight Champion talks about the conversation they had with Ospreay about dealing with the Death Riders.

Ospreay wraps up by addressing Mox’s words about consequences when it comes to their match at Dynasty, and Collision rolls on.

Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander vs. GiGi Rey & Ava Lawless

Back at ringside, Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida make their entrance for our next match. Ava Lawless and GiGi Rey are in the ring and we get a promo from Stat and Shida (mostly Shida) before this match gets underway!

Shida starts things off by going after Lawless right away, sending her to the corner for some punches. Stat tags herself in and GiGi gets the tag as well, only to be sent to the mat before Ava takes a boot sending her off the apron. Rey manages to dodge Stat for a headscissors attempt, but gets caught in Saturday Night Fever for the quick win!

Winner: Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander via Pinfall.

There is some dissension already teased between Stat and Shida post-match.

Video: Hyan, Maya World

We cut to a vignette hyping the team of Hyan and Maya World, who have their sights set on the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship. Clock that!

Backstage: Death Riders

We get a few words from Mox and the Death Riders after their match on Dynamite, with Mox saying they thrive in the chaos. He says nobody can run with the Death Riders, not for very long. He addresses Ospreay being hellbent on breaking Mox’s neck, before saying twenty minutes alone with Mox is a long time to be had without making a mistake…especially with a neck like what Ospreay has right now. Screw everything else, it’s us against the world.

Vacant TNT Championship Casino Gauntlet #2 Entrant Match
RUSH vs. Anthony Bowens

Bowens gets a side headlock on Rush, who sends the Pride of Pro Wrestling into the ropes for a shoulder tackle. Anthony back to his feet as he lands some shots on the former ROH World Champion, and the two trade strikes back and forth.

Rush ends up winning the exchange, sending Bowens to the corner before teasing a dropkick…only to stop himself, landing a boot and then telling Anthony to stay tranquilo. This only riles Bowens up, who fires off some shots on Rush before sending him to the outside. He slams the head of Rush against the ring steps, shouting into the camera that he is the pride of professional wrestling and he is taking number two. I will leave that be as Bowens picks Rush back up, sending him into the barricade as we go to ad break.

Back in the ring, Bowens is still in control with a thrust kick and a Famouser for a two count. He brings Rush to his feet to send him to the corner, but Rush turns it around for a dropkick down low. He lays some kicks into Bowens and this leads to an exchange of strikes in the corner as Bowens starts to fight back. They bring the fight to the middle of the ring, and a big kick from Rush gets him a nearfall.

Rush sends Bowens to the corner, taking him back down with a DDT before Bowens counters for a nearfall of his own. Rush sends Bowens back into the corner, and goes for The Horns…only to take a big chop from a rising Bowens. Knee strike from Anthony, but the Five-Tool Player only gets a two count for his efforts.

Rush takes control as he sends Bowens to the outside, slamming him against the guardrail before bringing him back to the ring. He sets Bowens up in the corner for some stomps and looks for The Horns, and this time it connects as he pulls Anthony in for the cover and the pinfall victory!

Winner: RUSH via Pinfall.

Rush celebrates.

Backstage: The Brawling Birds

We cut backstage, hearing from the Brawling Birds ahead of their match later tonight. Windsor addresses what Mox had to say about Ospreay, promising to put Shafir next to whatever’s left of Moxley after Dynasty. Hayter addresses the AEW Women’s World Champion, asking what the title means to Thekla as it means everything to Hayter. Windsor promises that the Birds will kick the living piss out of Shafir and Thekla, and with that we go to commercial.

Video: Countdown To Dynasty Teaser

We get a video hyping up Countdown to Dynasty which airs immediately after Collision

The Hurt Syndicate (Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley) vs. Andy Anderson & Mo Jabari

The Hurt Syndicate make their entrance for their in-ring return as a team. In the ring already are Andy Anderson and Mo Jabari, as the Syndicate enter the ring to a big pop to get this match underway!

Lashley starts things off with Anderson, with Bobyb shoving Andy into the corner off a lock up. They lock up again and the same result comes, before Lashley blocks a waistlock for a big clothesline. Delayed vertical suplex leads to Lashley dropping Anderson with ease, before Jabari makes a tag. He tries to stop Lashley in the corner to no avail, as Benjamin tags in for a few shots of his own.

Jabari tries to land some shots but Shelton is unfazed, as Anderson gets a blind tag only for Mo to get rocked by the Standard of Excellence. Lashley levels Anderson with a spear, sending Mo out of the ring as Benjamin gets the cover for the win.

Winner: The Hurt Syndicate via Pinfall.

The Hurt Syndicate celebrates.

Backstage: Mina Shirakawa, Harley Cameron

We cut backstage, where we hear from Harley Cameron and Mina Shirakawa. Cameron talks about the struggle to maintain hope that she and Mina share. The two ladies address what has happened with Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, and Toni Storm before deciding to have a drink…with Mina taking a champagne glass and Harley taking the rest of the bottle as Collision rolls on.

The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. Don Callis Family (El Clon & Hechicero)

Back at ringside, the Young Bucks make their entrance for our next match. Hechicero makes his entrance separate from El Clon as the Don Callis Family pairing head to the ring accompanied by Rocky Romero, and we get this match underway!

A light “El Clon” chant breaks out as he starts things off with Nick Jackson, who levels the luchador with a shoulder tackle. Exchange of offense leads to a blind tag by Hechicero, who takes the fight to both Bucks before Nick fights back sending Clon and Hechicero to the mat hard. Tag made to Matt as they go after Clon, landing a sunset German suplex combo to take him to the outside. Bucks go for a dive on the Family and settle for a pair of hurricanranas sending their opponents to the floor instead.

They bring Clon back into the ring, and Clon lays into Matt before he gets set up for an Indytaker (I think, it’s been a while) before Nick drops Hechicero on the otuside. Matt and Clon trade shots in the ring, and Matt counters a powerbomb only to land on the knee of Clon…who uses the ropes to tie up Matt!

Hechicero drops Nick with a flapjack before the two trade nearfall attempts. Clon finally breaks the hold and the two luchadores go after Matt on the ropes. Clon gets sent to the otuside as Hechicero sends Matt to the ropes once again, but this allows Matt to land a dive on Clon before dropping him with a rolling stunner off the apron.

Matt looks for a tag but gets caught in a hammerlock swing by Hechicero, who gets a nearfall as we go to an ad break.

Back in the ring, Hechicero lays into Matt some more before making the tag to Clon…who steps into a locomotion suplex by the Buck! This allows him to make a tag to Nick, who lands a cross body on both opponents beofre sending Hechicero to the corner for a reverse bulldog while kicking Clon away. He catches Clon on the ropes before sending him down with a hurricanrana despite Hechicero tagging in.

Canadian Destroyer on Hechicero, but Clon breaks it up…only for Matt to come running in, and the pair lock their opponents in the Scorpion Deathlock! The luchadores manage to get to the ropes for a break, and land some stereo offense of their own to tie the Bucks up for a double nearfall. The two teams exchange superkicks before doubling down on a clothesline.

Ref with the standing ten count as the Bucks make it up first, only for Hechicero to take Nick down. Matt with a DDT on Clone who is barely fazed, but the Bucks catch him with a superkick to wear him down. Hechicero stops a More Bang for Your Buck attempt and Clon lands a Pele kick to regain control.

ag made to Hechicero who traps Matt in a submission while Clon goes after Nick…who lays him out with a superkick before helping Matt counter into a nearfall. Hechicero manages to dodge a BTE Trigger for the tag to Clon…who gets caught by the Bucks, and takes a TK Driver for a Young Bucks victory!

Winner: The Young Bucks via Pinfall.

Bucks celebrate as commentary hypes up our International Title main event, coming up later tonight!

Video: Chris Jericho, The Demand

We get a look back at (Chris) Jericho’s return to AEW and how we ended up getting his in-ring return against Ricochet at Dynasty tomorrow night.

AEW International Championship
Myron Reed vs. Kazuchika Okada (c)

Back at ringside, Okada makes his entrance alongside Don Callis and Lance Archer for our next match. His challenger for the International Championship comes out next, as Myron Reed is accompanied by the rest of the Rascalz on his way to the ring. We look at how we got here with the issues between The Rascalz and the Don Callis Family, before this International Championship match gets underway!

This crowd isn’t all that bothered by Okada’s behavior as of late, chanting for the champ as he locks up with Reed. The fight gets taken to the ropes, where Okada sets the challenger up in the corner for some stomps. Reed fights back only to be sent to the ropes by Okada. Reed catches the champ by surprise with a kick, followed by an enziguri and a dropkick for a one count before Okada rolls to the outside.

Reed dodges a boot and lands a thrust kick, sending Okada to the corner…but the champ drops him against the ropes, sending Myron to the floor as we go to ad break.

Back in the ring, Okada drops Reed to the mat for a nearfall. He goes for an elbow drop, but Reed counters with a crucifix pin for two before taking the champ down hard. Both men make their way to their feet a Reed lands some more shots, before missing a sweep. The two dodge each other’s strikes for a moment before Reed sends the champ to the corner, only to stop a double boot and lands a guillotine leg drop…but only gets a two!

Okada rolls out of the ring for a breather, but takes a dive from the challenger who drops him to the floor. He brings Okada back into the ring but is caught on the ropes for a neckbreaker from the champ. Okada brings Reed back up for a scoop slam, and heads up top for an elbow drop. He gives the people a bird for good measure before setting up for a Rainmaker lariat…but the challenger breaks free!

He counters out of a tombstone piledriver before dropping Okada off the top rope. The champion heads to the apron, where Reed catches him with a running cutter to the floor! 450 splash is countered but Okada only get a two count…and Reed counters out of a Rainmaker for two. Reed dodges another lariat but gets caught in a tombstone, before the champ finally lands the Rainmaker lariat for the win.

Winner: Kazuchika Okada via Pinfall to retain the AEW International Championship.

Okada celebrates as we get a graphic reminding us of the big tag match tomorrow, as Okada teams with Konosuke Takeshita to take on the Young Bucks.

AEW Dynasty 2026 Card Rundown

Commentary runs down the card for Dynasty and the Zero Hour preshow.

Thekla & Marina Shafir vs. The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter)

Thekla and Shafir blindside the Birds and all four women go at it. Shafir and Thekla send their opponents to the outside to continue the fight, but Hayter sends the Toxic Spider into the guardrail to turn things around. She goes after Shafir as Windsor goes after Thekla, and the brawl continues until Thekla sends Hayter into the guardrail. The match has yet to officially begin as the beatdown continues, until Windsor manages to catch Shafir with a wheelbarrow slam onto the apron.

She brings Marina into the ring and the bell finally sounds off to get this match going, and the Birds double-team Shafir in the corner as Thekla slides into the ring herself. She takes Hayter away long enough for Marina to get some shots in, and she goes after Windsor with a German suplex as we go to ad break.

Back from break, Windsor manages to start fighting back against Shafir and Thekla leading to a draping DDT on Marina. Tag made to Hayter, who sends Thekla to the outside before landing a series of German suplexes on Shafir. Marina fights back but Hayter gets right back into it from the corner, landing a dropkick that rocks Shair…who counters into a guillotine on Hayter!

Jamie gets to the ropes for a break, but takes a kick by Shafir who tags in Thekla. She goes after her challenger for Dynasty with a few strikes into a modified octopus hold, with Shafir cutting off Windsor until the latter sends Marina into Thekla to break that hold up as well.

A spear, a forearm, and a headbutt causes the remaining three women to drop to the mat. Shafir and Windsor get to their feet off respective tags as they trade shots in the ring, and Windsor wins out as she makes the tag to Hayter. Two Birds One Stone is blocked thanks to Thekla, as Windsor breaks free of Mother’s Milk before the Birds land Two Birds One Stone to pick up the win!

Winner: The Brawling Birds via Pinfall.

The pair celebrate their win as commentary hypes up tomorrow night’s Dynasty event on pay-per-view. I find myself hoping the HBO Max broadcast doesn’t have any tech issues as Collision comes to a close.
