Premiere Date Revealed for NWA Powerrr on Comet TV

As noted before, the National Wrestling Alliance recently signed a new television deal with Sinclair Broadcast Group to air their weekly NWA Powerrr series on Sinclair’s Comet TV network.

The NWA provided an update announcing that their NWA Powerrr series will be premiering on Comet TV on May 1st.

𝙉𝙒𝘼 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙙𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙏𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 for the first time in over 30 years!

Kicking off May 1–2, 𝙉𝙒𝘼 𝙋𝙊𝙒𝙀𝙍𝙍𝙍 launches on @WeAreSinclair Broadcasting’s @WatchComet with a two-night, one-two punch premiere, Friday in primetime at 10 PM, followed by an all-new episode Saturday at 4 PM, with encore presentations both nights.

Josh Barnett Comments on Him Ending Bloodsport Had “Zero To Do With WWE Ever Telling Me What To Do”

As noted before, this past Friday’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport X event for Game Changer Wrestling in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Josh Barnett officially announced the end of the Bloodsport events series for the foreseeable future.

A recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show featured Barnett as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Barnett’s thoughts about how WWE played no role in his decision to end the Bloodsport series.

“Closing the show had zero to do with Saudi Arabia next year. It had zero to do with the WWE ever telling me to do anything or whether I’m going there or they’re going to do this show, nothing. The WWE has never, not once, told me what to do, how to do anything, had any input on the show, ever. If that match was booked, it’s booked the way I wanted it to be.”
