Ric Flair Claims He Didn’t Get Invited To WrestleMania 42 Because He Threatened To Beat Up Ludwig Kaiser At WrestleMania 41 & Says Every Wrestling Fan Should Be Thanking Vince McMahon

A recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show featured WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Flair claiming that he was banned by WWE from attending WrestleMania 42 due to he had threatened to beat up Ludwig Kaiser during last year’s WrestleMania 41 weekend.

“I didn’t get invited to WrestleMania this year. I threatened to beat up Tiffany Stratton’s [boyfriend Ludwig Kaiser] last year and I wasn’t allowed to go. A 24-year-old kid, threatened, by a 76-old-man, and I can’t go to WrestleMania. Are you kidding me? That English kid. He’s going to go as far in wrestling as a gnat. He’ll be a fly on the wall in a year.”

Flair also gave his thoughts about his reason why he had threatened to beat up Kaiser.

“They had that thing where Tiffany made smart remarks about Ashley’s divorces, which we both know she’s not smart enough to have written, somebody gave her the script. He implied that he wouldn’t ‘bum one’ off Ashley. Okay, I need your number, and I got it, because I can get anyone’s number that I want any minute of any day. I called him and said, ‘When I see you, I’m going to beat the shit out of you.’ He went like a little bitch, told Hunter, and I wasn’t allowed to go. He’s going to really go far in the business. A 76-year-old tells a 24-year-old kid that he’s going to kick his ass and where is he now? Is he even on the roster? Little punk.”

Flair also gave his thoughts about how Dennis Rodman wanted to be inducted by him for his WWE Hall of Fame induction at this year’s ceremony.

“Dennis Rodman called me and said, ‘Will you induct me into the Hall of Fame?’ I sent it to the power that be, ‘Dennis wants (me to induct him).’ I never got a call back. I’m very happy for Kevin and Sean. I never got a call back.”

Flair also gave his thoughts about the “Thank you, Vince” chants from fans during Stephanie McMahon’s WWE Hall of Fame induction speech.

“They should. They should all be thanking Vince. Everybody. Everybody in the world that likes wrestling should be thanking Vince McMahon.”

Flair also gave his thoughts about if he has been in contact with McMahon recently.

“No, I have not. I feel like there’s so much that’s going on that I would be wasting his time. He knows how I feel about him. He lent me $800,000 [in the 2000s], and unlike what people portray, it was not for the IRS. It was to help me get through three divorces at one time. And the thing of it is, they hate hearing this, I paid him back every dime. When he called me and said I can write this off, I paid him back because I didn’t want to let him down.”

Flair also gave his thoughts about how he wishes he could have attended WWE’s Hall of Fame ceremony event for Stephanie.

“I don’t think I’m in bad graces with any of the talent. I don’t think I’m in bad graces with Hunter. But here’s the deal, one of my favorite heels of all time — and I honestly believe she is one of the top 10 heels in the history of the business was Stephanie McMahon. I needed to be there.”
