Santino Marella Comments on Potential WWE Appearance at Clash In Italy Would Be “Full Circle Moment”

In a recent response to a fan on Twitter, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella gave his thoughts about how him making a potential appearance at WWE’s upcoming Clash In Italy event on May 31st in Turin, Italy would be a “full circle moment” for him.

“It would be a full circle moment for sure.”

Marella made his official main roster debut on the April 16, 2007 episode that took place in Milan, Italy. Marella was picked out from the crowd for an Open Challenge No DQ match against Umaga for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, which was won by Marella after getting some help from Bobby Lashley.

Stephanie Vaquer Shoulder Injury & Return Plans Update

As noted before, Stephanie Vaquer has been out of action for WWE since the April 27th episode of WWE RAW due to a storyline shoulder injury that was later revealed to be WWE’s way of writing her out for a legitimate shoulder injury she has been dealing with.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that while Vaquer had been initially expected to return to RAW for tonight’s show in Greensboro, North Carolina, his sources stated that they have no heard of her being in town for the show.

Johnson reported that Vaquer is still expected to return from injury by WWE’s Clash in Italy event later this month.

Several WWE Talents Announced for UFC Freedom 250 Fan Fest Event

UFC announced earlier today on Twitter that several WWE talents will be making a cross-over appearance for the company at their upcoming UFC Freedom 250 Fan Fest event on June 13-14 in Washington, D.C.

UFC’s Freedom 250 event will be taking place on June 14th on the lawn of the White House in Washington, DC. to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence that led to the creation the United States.
