Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker Set for WWE Backlash 2026
Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, Texas featured the first of three new matches announced for the card of Backlash 2026.
This new match announced was a singles match of Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker.
This new match was initially setup over recent months shows over Rollins and Breakker’s bad blood issues with each other. During tonight’s show, Rollins came out to the ring and talked about his loss to Gunther at WrestleMania 42 stating it wasn’t Gunther who beat him. Rollins stated that this person also was responsible for why Roman Reigns won the WWE World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania 42 that he never lost. Rollins then called out Breakker, who came out to the ring with Paul Heyman by his side.
After some insults filled back-and-forth banter over Rollins questioning how Breakker turning on him has benefited Breakker and Breakker bringing up how him and Bronson Reed were nothing more than errand boys for Rollins, Breakker stated that he never needed Rollins and all he needed was Heyman.
