Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Richmond, Virginia featured AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla giving a ringside promo calling out Stardom ahead of this month’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 event.
During her promo, Thekla talked about her time in Stardom and how she was called “The Idol Killer.” Thekla also brought up how she was “fired” from Stardom and Japan and declared not war but death on Stardom. After fellow Triangle of Madness members Julia Hart and Skye Blue pulled out a large ladder onto the stage and placed it next to the giant video screen, Thekla climbed it and proceeded to spit on the Stardom logo that was displayed on the screen.

Following Thekla’s promo segment, Stardom President Taro Okada responded on Twitter stating:
“A vulgar, cowardly, and shameful act. Unforgivable.”

許せない。
Prior to her departure from Stardom in 2025, Thekla had been involved in a feud with Okada that led to her attacking him and Okada “firing” her in response. Thekla would meet up with Okada again during Stardom’s event this past April during WrestleMania 42 week in Las Vegas that led to Thekla once again confronting and attacking him.
