Mercedes Mone Appears & Attacks Persephone & Hazuki
Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured Mercedes Mone making a surprise appearance.
Following Hazuki’s victory over Persephone in a Quarterfinal Round match in this year’s Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament, Hazukia and Persephone embraced in the ring in a sign of respect shown towards each other. As Hazuki was making her way to the back, Mone ran out from the crowd and attacked Persephone locking in the Statement Maker for revenge for Persephone defeating her for the CMLL World Women’s title months ago. This led to Hazuki running back out and cleared Mone from the ring. As Hazuki was checking on Persephone, Mone got back into the ring and attacked Hazuki leading to a brawl breaking out between the two as security came out trying to separate the two as the show went to a close.
The CEO, @MercedesVarnado, gets a bit of payback on Persephone AND launches a sneak attack against her #OwenCup opponent @0929_hazuki!
