The Undertaker Comments on WWE’s Presentation of AAA & His Creative Vision for AAA
A recent episode of the Six Feet Under with The Undertaker podcast featured co-host, WWE Hall of Famer, and co-AAA booker The Undertaker giving his thoughts about WWE’s presentation of Lucha Libre AAA and his creative vision for AAA.
“It’s not just high-flying now. What I can see happening and what we’re trying to do is have that lucha style and then also wrap a story around it. Instead of it just being a spectacle and having these two dudes do incredible moves, if we can wrap a story inside of it, make all that make sense, I think it’s gonna be a win-win and a huge growth opportunity for people.”
The Undertaker also gave his thoughts about the AAA brand and him being “blown away” by the number of people who have reached out to him about wanting to come to AAA.
“It’s crazy, the amount of phone calls and texts that I get — people wanting to come down. I’ve been blown away. It is never-ending and I’ll look at ‘em and I’ll think, oh man, they’re ribbing me. Just randomly texted me.”

Andre Chase Comments on WWE’s Original Plans For His Signing To The Company
A recent episode of Duke Hanson’s (former Duke Hudson) Between Two Jobs podcast featured former WWE NXT talent Andre Chase as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Chase’s thoughts about his signing with WWE in February of 2021 and WWE’s original plans were to bring him in as a coach for their Performance Center.
“Gabe (Sapolsky) calls me in July and goes, ‘We sold EVOLVE to WWE. You weren’t under contract with us. They are going to absorb some of the contracts, but you’re not one of them because you’re not under a deal.’ ‘Okay, cool.’ ‘Stay ready.’
“I was still working out and staying ready, but I wasn’t expecting anything. In September, Gabe texts me out of the blue and is like, ‘Have you been staying ready?’ ‘Yeah.’ Five minutes later, I get a call from Canyon (Cemen) and he’s like, ‘How have you been? Are you well? Are you working?’ North Carolina was shut down. I had a work-from-home setup. ‘As best I can, I’m staying ready.’ He’s like, ‘You want to come in for a tryout?’ It was the first tryout in COVID. Essentially, he was like, ‘You’re an interesting case because we actually want to sign you as a coach. Come to the tryout anyway, and we’ll talk and discuss what we have for you. We think you’d be a great coach.’ I’m 31 and like, ‘I’m not ready to stop wrestling yet.’ They made it clear it was one or the other. There were no player-coaches. He said they were bringing in ten guys, it was a small tryout and everyone was getting signed, ‘You just have to come to it.”
Chase also gave his thoughts about how his tryout was cursed and only three people ended up getting signed by WWE, which were him, Anthony Hendry, and Blake Christian.
“I get the call back in November from Canyon and he goes, ‘We really wanted you as a coach, but we enjoyed your tryout. What do you want to do?’ They gave me the numbers, and the coach was a much higher salary than what it was starting as a wrestler. I was like, ‘Do I take the money and call it a day on my career?’ They made it clear, ‘You can’t do both.’”
Chase also gave his thoughts about how he talked it over with his brother and decided he still wanted to be a wrestler in WWE.
“The money was appealing and attractive, but I came here to be a wrestler, so I’m gonna be a wrestler. I called him and told him. He was a bit surprised. ‘You know the pay difference, right?’”

Nikki Bella Comments on Wanting To Work with Rhea Ripley For Her In-Ring Retirement Feud
Casino Guru held a recent interview with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. One of the topics discussed included Bella’s thoughts about who from WWE she would like to work with when she closes her in-ring career in WWE and her hoping to work with Rhea Ripley for her retirement opponent feud.
“I definitely think I have to do something with Liv before I’m done, because it’s there,” Bella said. “You see that even when we went at each other on social media last week, because when I was watching, I was like, ‘Excuse me.’ You naturally saw the engagement immediately, so you could tell there’s unfinished business there, and honestly, I would love my last story to be with Rhea Ripley. I would love to have that with her, and I hope I get to be mixed in with some of the new girls too on my way out. Like Blake Monroe would be another one. Between Blake and Rhea on my way out.
With Blake, I love when I look at people to get in good stories with,” Bella said. “I look at what can I use personally to bring up, and with all those girls, there’s past stuff that we get to bring into it. Even with Blake Monroe. And that’s when stuff is gold. When I saw the girls’ promo last week, Judgment Day, and Brie and Paige, I’m like, ‘Yes, this is what I’m talking about.’ Even though I was like, “Ow, you guys are so mean,’ that’s the stuff I love. Get personal. We’re not here to not hurt feelings. This is wrestling. Go hurt feelings. I’m sorry, but this is what sells. To get the emotion, it’s what gets people invested and connected. Because I think of real life for people. People deal with bosses, employees, neighbors that they get issues with, and friends they have falling outs with. So we can’t be nice. We have to make people feel like, ‘Oh, that’s like my neighbor. I hate him and now I’m gonna boo him.’”
