Limitless Wrestling Announces Aaron Rourke Pulled From Their 6/20 Event Due To WWE Contractual Obligations

Limitless Wrestling announced that they have pulled WWE ID talent and WWE EVOLVE Men’s Champion Aaron Rourke from their upcoming Live at Madrid’s event on June 20 in Portland, Maine due to WWE contractual obligations issues.

It was also announced that the company knew this would be the risk of booking contracted talent for their shows but they will continue to take those risks in order to “bring the very best professional wrestling possible to Maine.”

“𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆: Due to a WWE contractual obligation, Aaron Rourke will no longer be appearing for Limitless Wrestling on June 20th.

As our wrestlers move up the ranks, this is the risk we run as an independent organization booking contracted talent. We’ll continue to take those risks to always bring the very best professional wrestling possible to Maine. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.”

This is the third time over the past week that WWE ID talents have been pulled from upcoming indies events. Beyond Wrestling had pulled Chazz “Starboy” Hall (Starboy Charlie) from their Cruel Summer 2026 event on June 20 in San Francisco, California and West Coast Pro Wrestling had pulled Veronica Haven (Fallyn Grey), Sloane Jacobs (The Notorious Mimi), Anya Rune (Airica Demia), and Laynie Luck being pulled from their All Star Weekend events on June 19-20 in Lasalle, Illinois.
