  • 3) Yuya Uemura & Taichi defeated TMDK (Zack Sabre Jr. & Ryohei Oiwa) via Sit-down Pin (pinfall 13:15)
  • 4) El Desperado defeated Mistico via Numero Dos (submission 9:33)
  • A video aired announcing 14 of the 20 competitors for this year’s G1 Climax tournament. It was announced that two of the remaining spots will go to the winners of the IWGP Tag Team Championship match. The remaining four spots will be determined by the winners of a Play-In tournament to take place during the Road to G1 shows.
  • 5) NEVER Openweight Championship – Aaron Wolf defeated Ren Narita (c) via Angle Slam (pinfall 9:24)
  • 6) IWGP Tag Team Championship – United Empire (HENARE & Great-O-Khan) defeated Knockout Bros (OSKAR & Yuto-Ice) (c) via Imperial Bomb (pinfall 21:30)
  • Following the match, Great-O-Khan and HENARE laid out OSKAR and Yuto-Ice and Great-O-Khan posed over the Knockout Brothers holding up his newly won IWGP Tag titles.
  • 7) IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship Three-way match – Shota Umino defeated Drilla Moloney and Andrade El Idolo (c) via Second Chapter (pinfall)
  • Following the match, a mystery masked person ran out and attacked Umino. This mystery person took off his mask revealing himself to be Kidd and grabbed a microphone giving an obscenities filled speech insulting Umino and stating that he was never part of the Death Riders. Kidd continued stating that he would take the IWGP Global title whenever he wanted. Kidd also gave some words to Drilla Moloney at the ramp telling him to ignore the crowd wanting him to do something and brought up how he used to be cheered by them and now they hate him because he left NJPW. Kidd then looked into the camera and trashed both WWE and New Japan with f-bombs and almost did the same to AEW before catching himself in time and boasted about AEW being “where the best wrestle.” Kidd then proceeded to spit on NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi from the ring to where he was seated at ringside and the New Japan logo in the ring. Kidd finished by tossing the IWGP Global title out of the ring and it landing hard on the floor in another act of disrespect by him towards New Japan.
  • 8) IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship – YOH defeated DOUKI (c) via Direct Drive (pinfall 17:57)
  • Following the match, SHO confronted YOH and demanded a title shot only for YOH to reject him and pointed to Kosei Fujita at ringside for his choice. SHO attacked YOH from behind in response and grabbed the title belt and proceeded to yell at Fujita. This led to Master Wato coming out and laid out SHO and grabbed the belt. Fujita got into the ring and confronted Wato over him trying to get a shot at a title before him. YOH then got up onto his feet and demanded Wato give back his title, which he did. After some teasing of YOH considering a match against both Fujita and Wato, Francesco Akira ran out and attacked YOH only for YOH to quickly get the upper hand and sent Akira out of the ring. YOH then grabbed the microphone again and announced a “YOH Game” between SHO, Fujita, Wato, and Akira and the winner would officially be his next challenger for his title.
  • 9) IWGP Heavyweight Championship – Yota Tsuji defeated Callum Newman (c) via Fire Blaster (pinfall 24:32)
