Bayley has been absent from WWE since her loss to Lyra Valkyria and post-match attack at this past July’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show in New York City, New York. Bayley’s contract with WWE is currently set to expire at the end of this year.
Dave Meltzer reported in a recent episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio that there has been no new updates regarding Bayley’s contract status since his last report. Meltzer reported that the only thing known is that Bayley still has a decision to make and she has not signed a new contract with WWE.
In regards to her current abscense from WWE, Meltzer reported that he believes that once she signs a new contract, she will be back on WWE television but if she doesn’t sign, then WWE is doing the same thing that AEW CEO Tony Khan does to AEW talent with expiring deals.
Meltzer speculated that if Bayley does sign a new contract, then she will probably come back and attack Valkyria for her return storyline and if not, then Valkyria’s attack on her at Madison Square Garden was her write off from WWE.
In an interesting note, Bayley recently posted a video on Instagram of her training that featured a song titled “All In” which quickly led to online speculation of her potentially leaving WWE and making her official AEW debut at this month’s All In 2026 event at Wembley Stadium.
