PROGRESS Wrestling recently announced one new match for the card of their The Odyssey Tour 2026 event on September 4 at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange in Edinburgh, Scotland.

This new match announced was a singles match of Dijak vs. Malakai Black.

Blue Meanie Revealed He Is Dealing With Broken Ribs Injury After Fall Incident

ECW legend The Blue Meanie announced on Instagram that he is currently dealing with a broken ribs injury that he suffered after a recent fall incident he had.

Meanie also stated that he also had a recent death in the family and could really use any special vibes for support.

“If you’re trying to reach me and I haven’t replied I am dealing with broken ribs after a fall. I’m in a huge amount of pain. On top of that I’ve had a death in the family. If you have any special vibes to send my way I can really use them. Thank you…”

This past Sunday’s NJPW G1 Climax 2026 event in Tokyo, Japan featured Unbound Co. (Shingo Takagi & Drilla Moloney) defeating Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta & Gabe Kidd) in a tag team match. Following the match, Takagi gave his thoughts backstage to the press and issued a challenge to Claudio Castagnoli for a match at NJPW’s Destruction in Kobe 2026 event in Kobe. Takagi stated “Before the ‘G1,’ I lost to you, and it threw off my whole rhythm! This ‘G1’ where I went 4 wins and 5 losses and ended up below .500? Claudio, that’s on you. West Coast Pro Wrestling recently announced that Spark Rush (Takumi Iroha & Sareee) will be making an appearance for the company at their Eight Year Anniversary Show on November 13 in San Francisco, California.
