Jim Johnston Comments on His Interest In Creating WWE Themes Again & His Belief Triple H Isn’t A Fan of His
A recent episode of the All Access Entertainment podcast featured former WWE composer Jim Johnston as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Johnston’s thoughts about if he would consider composing wrestling theme songs again in WWE in the future.
“I’d be happy to do it, but you have to be asked. The chances that Hunter is going to ask are close to zero. The chances that the WWE Music Group is going to call me up are zero, and the chances that the guy who is currently doing themes for WWE is going to call me up are zero. Why would you invite me in or invite somebody else in?”
Johnston also gave his thoughts about his belief that WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque isn’t a big fan of him due to his association as being a “Vince guy” and Levesque only wants his own guys working in behind the scenes roles in WWE.
“I still think Hunter wants to maintain that Motorhead wrote those songs. I don’t think he’s a very big fan (of me). When he was coming out of wrestling and into more of a behind the scenes role, he clearly wanted his own guys, and he perceived me as Vince’s guy. I think that’s why I’m not being asked to write themes anymore.”

Chad Gable Comments on His WWE Intercontinental Title Match Against Rey Mysterio at Aug. 17th WWE RAW Show & His Praise of Mysterio
This past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Buffalo, New York featured Chad Gable defeating Rey Mysterio to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship. This match was notable for Gable showing his respect to Mysterio after their match together.
Gable reflected on Tuesday on Instagram about his recent match against Mysterio and his praise of Mysterio for being one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time and being a “human being like no other” that he has ever met in his life.
“Last night I had the honor of defending the Intercontinental Championship against one of the greatest Professional Wrestlers of all time.
But what’s more astonishing to me than Rey’s continued ability to perform at the level he did last night at this point in his career — is the fact that a guy with his list of accomplishments in this business can be as genuinely humble, gracious, and grounded as he is.
Rey Mysterio is truly a human being like no other I’ve ever met.
Our encounter was, and is, everything I love about Pro Wrestling.

As noted before, this past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Buffalo, New York featured Rey Mysterio defeating AAA talent El Fiscal in a First Round match in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender tournament.
False Finish reported that their sources stated that WWE Hall of Famer and AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio had personally pushed internally for El Fiscal to be included in the tournament for the reason why he was chosen as one of the competitors.
