WWE SmackDown Taping Spoilers for August 28 Episode from Ottawa, Canada

WWE held a double set of WWE RAW and SmackDown television tapings on Monday at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

The first was for that night’s live RAW show and the second was for this week’s SmackDown show on Friday, August 28.

Full results from WWE SmackDown tapings on August 24:

• Kevin Owens came out for a promo that was first interrupted by Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk, then Gunther came out to interrupt and then Finn Balor came out to interrupt. A number one contenders match between Owens, Gunther, and Balor was set up.
• Irresistible Forces (Lash Legend & Nia Jax) defeated Tiffany Stratton & Chelsea Green. Chelsea came back after medics had tried taking her away.
• Gunther interrupts a meeting between Nick Aldis and Danhausen
• Jacy Jayne defeated Paige. Following the match, Nikki Bella came out and attacked Paige.
• Blake Monroe was interviewed backstage that was interrupted by Giulia who showed up and attacked Monroe.
• Undisputed WWE Championship #1 Contender’s match – Finn Balor vs. Kevin Owens vs. Gunther ended in a disqualification after Sami Zayn interfered. CM Punk came out only to also get laid out by Zayn with the title belt.
