As noted before, this past Friday’s AAA Triplemania 34 Night 1 event in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Lady Shani suffering an injury during a Six-Person Tag Team match between her, Jack Cartwheel, & Mini Abismo Negro and Adelicious, Mascarita Sagrada, & Mini Vikingo. Shani was unable to continue the match and the nature of her injury was not known at time. Shani was later revealed to be doing okay and had not shown any signs of a potential concussion injury.
Shani recently provided an update on Instagram revealing that she had suffered two bloody cuts on her eyelid and the injury occurred when Adelicious’ grazed her face doing a cartwheel move early into their match.
“I wanted to record them my whole day, since I got up, the workout, the food, the prep.. until the function is over.
The idea was to show you a little bit of everything behind those minutes that you guys see from the top of the ring.
But we never know how a fight will end… and this time the video also ended earlier than I imagined.
I couldn’t keep recording after this.
And I think, in a way, it’s also a reflection of life. We can make plans, prepare, imagine, how things will turn out… but everything can change in a second.
Nothing is written.
All you have to do is live, learn, get up and carry on. 🤍
This day didn’t end the way I hoped, but it is also part of my story. 🫰”
