Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Maya World is currently not medically cleared to compete for AEW and Ring of Honor due to her undergoing an undisclosed procedure over the last week.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that AEW officials currently are hopeful that World will be able to return soon.
Besides AEW, World also had to pull out of an indie booking this past weekend as well due to her current injury situation.
No other details were given regarding World’s injury.
World last wrestled at the September 9th Rebel Heart episode of AEW Dynamite. World competed in a Trios match with Hyan and Thunder Rosa against Britt Baker, Persephone, & Hikaru Shida at the show.
