Kurt Angle Postpones U.K. Tour Due To Health Issue

The National Wrestling League and Inside The Ropes recently announced that WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has pulled out of his upcoming tour of the United Kingdom due to him not being medically cleared to travel due to an undisclosed health issue.

National Wrestling League official statement:

Regrettably, we have been informed that Kurt Angle has not been medically cleared for travel to the UK this weekend and will therefore be unable to attend our event this Sunday in Manchester.
Kurt is incredibly upset that he is unable to join us and apologises profusely to the fans who were looking forward to meeting him this weekend.
All customers who purchased the Kurt Angle VIP Meet & Greet will be refunded directly via your point of sale (TicketTailor or TicketQuarter). Further information regarding your general admission access to the event — which was included with VIP tickets — will be communicated to you directly later today.
While we are naturally disappointed that Kurt cannot be with us, we continue to look forward to bringing the National Wrestling League to Manchester for the very first time this weekend, featuring a stacked line-up across six contests.

Inside The Ropes official statement:

“* IMPORTANT INFO – KURT ANGLE TOUR RESCHEDULED *
Due to an unfortunate health issue, Kurt Angle is unable to travel for his live Inside The Ropes shows.
Kurt is adamant about doing the shows so we have rescheduled at the same venues for Feb 1st (London) and Feb 2nd (Glasgow).”

Prior to the announcement, Angle had been scheduled to make an appearance for National Wrestling League on September 27 in Manchester and for Inside The Ropes on September 28 in London, England and September 29 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Uhaa Nation (Apollo Crews) Comments on His TNA Slammiversary 2026 Appearance & TNA Contacted WWE For A Match During His 90-Day Non-Compete Clause

As noted before, this past June’s TNA Slammiversary 2026 event in Boston, Massachusetts featured Uhaa Nation, former Apollo Crews in WWE, making his surprise debut appearance in TNA Wrestling. This was Uhaa Nation’s only appearance in TNA to date.

A recent episode of the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast featured Nation as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Nation’s thoughts about the process that led to his appearance in TNA and how TNA had contacted WWE asking to use him for match while he was still under his 90-day non-compete clause after his release this past April.

“The story is pretty interesting. TNA had reached out to WWE because I was still looking at the 90-day non-compete, where you technically can’t wrestle for anybody else. TNA got in contact with WWE. Moose may have been the first one to call me and told me that TNA was looking to bring me in for Slammiversary. My first thought was, ‘I’m in my 90 days. No way that’s going to happen.’ I kind of brushed it off because at the time we were at a resort and taking a staycation. Shortly after that, (Mustafa) Ali called me and presented the same idea. ‘I think they’re trying to get you and me to work at Slammiversary.’ He asked me, ‘The issue is, would you be okay losing?’ At the time, I wasn’t even sure I wanted to wrestle. This was not even a month after the release, and I was still trying to figure things out and how I felt about wrestling. My response was, ‘I spent my whole career losing at WWE. The first thing outside of WWE that I don’t want to do is lose.’ He respected my answer. ‘I respect that. I would’ve said the same thing.’ I get a call from Moose shortly after that. ‘They’re saying you don’t want to do the match.’ I said, ‘I didn’t say that I didn’t want to do the match. I just said that I don’t think that I want to come in there and lose after losing literally every single match since before I tore my pec.’ The last time I won, I think, was the last match before I tore my pec when I wrestled Gargano. I ended up winning that match. That was February 2025. Eventually, what they ended up doing was the three-way where I didn’t take the pin. ‘We want you to come out here and have a good match.’ Talking to my wife, I thought it would be something good. I thought I needed that opportunity where the spotlight would be on me again. I always enjoy performing. I love being the focus for that moment.
The match ended up happening. I kind of took my vacation after that, and I’ve booked some things here and there, but wrestling hasn’t been the center focus of my life. I’m glad I got that opportunity because we went out there and I got to work with two studs and two amazing human beings. I really enjoyed what we got to do and it was nice to get that internet pop and be talked about again.”

Masha Slamovich Makes MLW Debut at Sept. 24th MLW Fusion Show

Thursday’s MLW Fightland 2026 show on Tubi featured former TNA talent Masha Slamovich making her official debut appearance in Major League Wrestling.

During the show, Slamovich made her surprise appearance being revealed as the newest member of the heel CONTRA stable and answering Lady Frost’s open challenge match.

MLW held their Fightland 2026 event and MLW Fusion tapings featuring Slamovich’s debut appearances and matches earlier this month in Charleston, South Carolina.

Slamovich was previously accused of committing domestic abuse by her former partner and current indies wrestler AKIRA in September of 2025. Slamovich departed from TNA in December of 2025 due to her contract had expired following an internal investigation by TNA into the allegations.
