As noted before, former TNA Head of Talent Relations and booker Tommy Dreamer departed from TNA Wrestling this past June. Dreamer’s departure was later confirmed to be part of a larger workplace reductions within TNA at the time.
Dreamer released a video earlier today on Twitter teasing the upcoming arrival of “The Midnight Dreamer.”
This video started with the line of “The Midnight Dreamer is coming” and featured an animation of a mysterious man wearing a cowboy hat and riding on a horse. The video ended with a message stating “Coming soon.”

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Dreamer’s video is part of a storyline for indies promotion Adrenaline Championship Wrestling that was somehow “lost in translation.
Johnson reported that manager Josh Shernoff had defeated Dreamer and had claimed to have retired Dreamer as part of their storyline feud in the company.
Johnson also reported that Saturday’s event for ACW in Poughkeepsie, New York featured a vignette played teasing the arrival of The Midnight Dreamer.
This storyline is inspired by Dusty Rhodes’ “The Midnight Rider” storyline in the 1980s.
