As noted before, Buddy Matthews has been out of action for AEW since the Grand Slam Australia 2025 event in February of 2025 due to an ankle injury and surgery. Matthews had revealed this past August that he was medically cleared for an in-ring return.
World Series of Wrestling announced earlier today that they have pulled Matthews from their upcoming Megamania tour due to a “scheduling conflict.”
This upcoming tour is scheduled to take place from October 29 to November 2 in Australia and New Zealand.
We have just learnt, that due to scheduling conflicts, Buddy Matthews will no longer be appearing on the WSW MEGAMANIA Tour.
We’re really disappointed that Buddy won’t be joining us this time around, but we completely understand that schedules can change.
We hope to welcome Buddy back to World Series Wrestling on a future tour! 🇦🇺🔥
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
