Backstage Update on WWE’s Backup Plans for WrestleMania 43 Host Location

As noted before, WWE is currently believed to likely officially announce the date for next year’s WrestleMania 43 event in Saudi Arabia by this November’s Crown Jewel 2026 event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The reason for WWE’s announcement coming much later than usual for a WrestleMania event is due to issues related to their current plans for the event and the on-going volatile situation in the Middle East region. Rumors of WWE currently planning to use The Sphere in Las Vegas as a backup location were recently debunked.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed that The Sphere in Las Vegas is currently not a backup location plan for WWE in case they have to move WrestleMania 43 out of Saudi Arabia.

It was reported that WWE officials currently does have a backup blueprint for hosting WrestleMania domestically should a change be needed for next year’s event.

Details regarding this backup blueprint plan reportedly are being kept secret within WWE.
