Ethan Page Comments on Why He “Feels Nothing” After Winning WWE Intercontinental Title

As noted before, Monday’s WWE RAW show in Brooklyn, New York featured “All Ego” Ethan Page defeating Chad Gable to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. This was Page’s first-ever championship victory in his WWE main roster career.

A recent episode of the WWE Now podcast following the show featured Page as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Page’s thoughts about why he “feels nothing” following his championship victory.

“Look, I feel weird. Mostly because this is the ultimate goal, and now that I’ve achieved it so early and so quickly, it’s skewed, I guess, my view of the future. I don’t know why I thought it would be so hard to obtain this, and then it happened so fast that I feel like I should reassess my goals. Which happens to me a lot in my life, and I think that’s why I feel nothing. Because I know it’s just, like, I’m gonna do something great again, I’m sure. You know what? Actually, I just did an interview with Jackie (Redmond), and I gave her my thoughts, and I had said that it was extremely sad that I never got to witness myself actually win the Intercontinental Championship and I think that actually is the precipice of everything is I don’t actually get to enjoy the journey. I’m the one dragging the cart behind me, kind of thing.”

Jake “The Snake” Roberts Clarifies His WWE Status & Says He’s Not Under An Actual Contract

As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer and former AEW manager Jake “The Snake” Roberts revealed in a recent interview with the Nick Club Wrestling Happy Hour podcast that he had recently signed a new deal with WWE.

Roberts provided an update earlier today on Twitter clarifying his current status with WWE and stated that he is not under an actual contract with the company.

“Hey, Jake The Snake Roberts here. I got something I need to talk to you about. First thing is, I did a promo, talked to a fella and had a great time being interviewed by him. I talked about going back to work for the WWE. Yeah, in some capacity. That capacity is real simple — signing autographs. Yeah, I went to SummerSlam and signed some autographs. I do some Topps cards here and there. I enjoy doing it, just like coming out and seeing you guys, signing autographs for you and taking pictures. That’s all there is. I’m not under contract by no way, no means.”

Danhausen Explains Why He Trademarked His Face Paint

A video clip from a past episode of the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast was recently re-posted online featuring Danhausen talking about how he trademarked his face paint because of a Magic The Gathering card that was created after he started wearing face paint that had a similar look. This quickly led to online speculation of Danhausen going after the Magic The Gathering card company over the issue.

Danhausen provided an update earlier today on Twitter stating that he loves Magic The Gathering and wasn’t accusing the company of infringement.

In a follow-up tweet, Danhausen also stated that the reason why he trademarked his face paint wasn’t because he would “willy nilly” sue people but instead to protect himself from others trying to sue him over it.

“If you’re mad about this, you’re stupid. This isn’t so Danhausen can Willy nilly try to sue people. It’s literally so no one can yell at Danhausen.”
