Unlike Kip James and Jacqueline, TNA Knockout Roxxi has not been pulled from television. She was not used at the last set of Impact tapings due to the company’s new edict to only bring in talent written into the shows. Considering she wasn’t scheduled to appear on either episode of Impact, she simply worked last week’s Destination X pay-per-view and returned home. Fellow Knockout Rhaka Khan wasn’t brought in for the same reason.
In addition to Daffney (TNA’s “The Governor”), Madison Rayne also took part in the new all-girl promotion called Wrestlicious. Though she wasn’t seen in the video, she took part in a slate of shows taped last August. Both women’s wrestlers are now under contract to TNA, so they won’t be able to appear on their shows beyond what has already been taped. In case you missed it, you can see the promo video for the promotion at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ei93yTpJSj0 You can catch Daffney at the start of the video in an all-new “dark” persona she created for the promotion.
Ring of Honor announced the first three TV main events for the next set of HDNet tapings:
* Roderick Strong vs. Austin Aries (to air on 5.02.09)
* Bryan Danielson vs. Tyler Black (to air on 5.09.09)
* ROH Tag Team Title Match: Kevin Steen and El Generico © vs. Kenny King and Rhett Titus (to air on 5.16.09)
