The official Twitter feed of the WWE Insider confirmed that Jim Ross would compete in a tag team match with John Cena against Alberto Del Rio and Michael Cole. The account reported last night that Ross was spotted at the Palacio De Los Deportes. A tweet from John Laurinaitis’ account confirmed that the WWE Hall of Fame announcer was invited by WWE to take part in the event.
On Monday, Ross was fired by Laurinaitis for his lack of loyalty during the Superstars’ walkout against WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H the previous week.
