There has been definite interest in bringing in the former Victoria (Lisa Marie Varon) since her departure from WWE this past January, however, the key would be when her contract expires and the type of release she signed if there was time remaining on her deal. Should someone leave WWE with time left on their contract, they have to agree not to work for TNA until the time in their original deal has expired. As noted earlier, Lisa Marie Varon was seen talking to TNA president Dixie Carter at the UFC show in Nashville last week. She posted a blog about it that we put on this website earlier today.
As noted this morning here on the site, Thursday’s edition of iMPACT! drew a 1.32 rating — down from last week’s 1.33 number. This week’s show beat ECW as WWE’s Tuesday night offering drew a 1.26 rating.
