12 Rounds starring WWE Superstar John Cena drew an estimated $775,000 at the box office this past weekend, finishing in fourteenth place. In comparison, Race to Witch Mountain starring former WWE Superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson finished at No. 12, doing an estimated $2.0 million. Of the top 30 movies, 12 Rounds had the biggest percentage week-to-week drop — 65%. Although it should be noted that several theaters dropped it after Thursday as the theater count for the WWE Studios film was down to 908 for the weekend.
Mark Henry is scheduled to appear at the Ohio Valley Wrestling television taping on Wednesday, April 29th. The ECW Superstar will be signing autographs and meeting fans from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. For more information on his upcoming appearance, visit www.OVWrestling.com.
