Former Raw General Manager Mike Adamle appeared on this week’s episode of Big Ten Quad alongside former NFL running back Eddie George as part of a three-person panel. During the show, host Eddie George turned the discussion toward Adamle’s “current job” with World Wrestling Entertainment. The Heisman Trophy winner asked Adamle if professional wrestling is an illusion. Adamle said he tells people to not use the “f word” — fake. Adamle said all of the wrestlers are tremendous athletes, and while the events are choreographed, the action is real. The former Raw General Manager said he’s done a lot of things in his career, but he’d love to get in the ring and see what it’s like to be chokeslammed by a 7-foot wrestler. George recalled him hitting someone, with Adamle saying he slapped Randy Orton. Adamle then said he was written off the show following the slap, and is waiting to get written back in. George then asks Adamle to slap him, which he does. George was quite shocked on how hard it actually is. Adamle then asks him to return the favor, which he does. George’s slaps were weak, and Adamle kept saying “harder!”
