It was announced during one of the commercial breaks at RAW that Kane vs. John Cena would be the dark match main event following RAW.

After RAW went off the air, Kane defeated John Cena via disqualification after Cena used a chair. Kane had thrown the chair in the ring earlier on in the match. After the match, Kane went for the tombstone piledriver but Cena reversed and hit him with the Attitude Adjustment. Kane then went to the back while Cena took and mic and wished everyone a happy holidays.
