WWE is likely to make an announcement this month that WrestleMania 29 will be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey next year. As previously reported, Triple H visited with stadium officials on Wednesday and the location appears to be set. WrestleMania 30 is also expected to be hosted in Cowboys Stadium in Dallas as previously reported.
This will be a break in the tradition of hosting every tenth WrestleMania in New York due to the fact and is being done so that WWE can beat the NFL to the New York/New Jersey market, as the 2014 Super Bowl is scheduled for the MetLife Stadium.
The only complication is that Cowboys Stadium is set to host the NCAA Final Four the weekend that WrestleMania airs. It’s possible that the company could move the PPV to an earlier March or later April date, but that has yet to be determined.
