Former WWE Tough Enough contestant Rima Fakih appeared in a Detroit-area court on Wednesday for a hearing on her DUI arrest from December. A trial date has been set for March 14th, but the hope of both Fakih’s lawyer and prosecution is to reach a plea agreement.
Fakih’s lawyer says she has shown remorse and is a “woman of substantial character.”
Fakih’s lawyer also got verbally ripped apart by the judge during her DUI hearing today. TMZ reports that the judge was hoping to hear that a plea deal had been worked, but Fakih’s lawyers instead started making excuses and the judge went off on them.
The judge has set a bench trial date of March 14th. If no plea deal is reached by then, she would go to trial and could face 93 days in prison plus fines. Check out the video below:
