— Rey Mysterio is advertised to appear twice at the World of wheels convention this weekend. On Saturday, he’ll be at the Pittsburgh event at the David Lawrence Convention Center from 1:00-3:00 p.m. On Sunday, you can see him in New Orleans event at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

— WSJ.com is reporting that former U.S. Congressman Chris Shays will announce his candidacy for the 2012 Connecticut Senate race today. He would be the opponent for WWE CEO Linda McMahon. McMahon was profiled by the Wall Street Journal.

— Actor Victor Webster, who is one of the cast members of The Scorpion King 3, talked about working with Batista on the shoot. He said: “I get along really well these kind of guys ‘cause I understand what they go through. I train with a bunch of professional fighters… I’m really impressed by first of all by professional fighters, what they go through all the time.
