While both Roxxi and Rhaka Khan were reportedly suspended for 60 days as a result of their backstage altercation a few months ago, Roxxi was telling friends she was not aware that she had been suspended. As noted, Roxxi was eventually released from the company, although her contract was expiring within the next few months. It is believed that she had already worked enough dates for the company so they won’t owe her money.
The April 23rd episode of iMPACT! drew a 1.23 cable rating with 1.8 million viewers. It was the fifth highest viewership for iMPACT! in the program’s history, although the rating was down from recent weeks. The show did a 0.86 in Males 18-34 and 1.14 in Males 35-49. The Beer Money, Inc. vs. Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed match gained 15,000 viewers. A segment of interviews with Jeff Jarrett, some Mick Foley clips and Jenna Morasca & Sharmell bickering lost 102,000 viewers. The ladder match pitting Sojournor Bolt against Taylor Wilde and “The Beautiful People” celebrating Angelina Love’s Knockout Championship win gained 15,000 viewers. Kevin Nash’s bout with AJ Styles gained 15,000 viewers. The tag match ptting Eric Young & “The Outlaw” Jethro Holliday against Yujiro & Tetsuya Naito gained 29,000 viewers. The main event featuring Scott Steiner vs. Jeff Jarrett and post-match angle gained 102,000 viewers, drawing a peak rating of 1.29.
It was announced during last night’s episode of iMPACT! that the first-ever Knockouts Monster’s Ball would be held at the Sacrifice pay-per-view. The participants of the match have yet to be announced.
