WWE Extreme Rules Update, New ‘Miss WrestleMania’ Crowned

Two matches have been announced for next month’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view. As announced on Raw, Randy Orton will square off against Batista in a Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship. As if that isn’t enough, Extreme Rules will see another highly anticipated rematch in John Cena vs. Big Show as Cena meets the 7-footer in what is being as a Submission Match.

As a result of a “no disqualification” stipulation added to the bout by Chavo Guerrero, Santina Marella lost the title of “Miss WrestleMania” to Vickie Guerrero on Raw. During the match, William Regal emerged by taking out Marella, and giving the General Manager of Raw the opening she needed to pin her opponent, securing the “Miss WrestleMania” crown in the process.

As announced on Raw, CM Punk will go head-to-head with Chris Jericho on this week’s edition of WWE Superstars on WGN America.

WWE has scheduled a RAW house show for White Plains, NY on 8/2.
