Mistico Defeats Averno In Mask vs. Hair Match at CMLL 93rd Anniversary

Friday’s CMLL 93rd Aniversario event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico featured Mistico defeating Averno in a Lucha De Apuestas, Mask vs. Hair match.

This match featured Mistico’s mask and Averno’s hair being on the line as the stipulation. As a result of his loss, Averno had to shave off his hair.

Following the match, Averno had some of his hair shaved off and gave it to Mistico. As the two celebrated, Averno attacked Mistico laying him out and El Sky Team members Neon and Mascara Dorada who were in the ring for the post-match ceremony. Averno then yanked off Mistico, Neon, and Dorada’s masks and posed with it before leaving.

Mistico and Averno advanced to the Lucha de Apuestas match after being the last team remaining in a Four-way Elimination tag team match that also featured Star Jr. & Zandokan Jr., Dragón Rojo Jr. & Bárbaro Cavernario, and Último Guerrero & Templario.
