— As of earlier this afternoon, the plan was still to have John Cena wrestle Mark Henry tonight on RAW. The car accident has garnered a lot of mainstream coverage. For what it’s worth, Cena is said to be fine at RAW. He’s walking around showing no signs of injury.
— Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown garnered a 1.92 (1.9) cable rating with 2.84 million viewers. That rating is down from last week’s 1.92 and 3.1 million viewers and is the lowest viewer count for a first-run episode since the first episode of the year. The show took a hit in the 18 – 34 male demographic, down 0.3. The show still ranked #1 among cable TV shows in the demo, as well as in the male 12 – 34 and male 18 – 49 demos. It was ranked #4 among all shows on cable. By comparison, UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter: Live had a 0.83 rating with 1.07 million viewers, down from a 0.94 rating for the season premiere.
