DGUSA Signs Masked Talent, Helms’ Big Mistake, FCW Tapings

— Florida Championship Wrestling has an updated schedule on its website, noting TV tapings scheduled for April 5, April 26, and May 17th. They also have a new house show set for May 18 in Orlando.

— Dragon Gate USA has announced that an unnamed luchador has signed for the WrestleMania Weekend shows as well as EVOLVE 11. DGUSA have offered the following hints to his identity: “This is an upcoming talent who many fans might not know. He has a growing reputation in Mexico. DGUSA officials were so impressed when they saw him recently that he was immediately signed to a contract.”

— Shane “Hurricane” Helms recently said it was a mistake taking off his mask for previous Lucha Libre shows and will be wearing it on the promotion’s upcoming tour. Helms spoke during a press event in the Dallas area earlier this week, saying the following: “I made the strange decision to take the mask off. I realize now I shouldn’t have made that decision. People love that mask. For this tour I will be bringing the mask back.”
