— WWE Studios has found a distribution partner for its film The Day. Deadline.com reports that the action-thriller, which stars Shawn Ashmore (X-Men), Dominic Monaghan (The Lord of the Rings) Shannyn Sossamon (A Knight’s Tale) and Ashley Bell (The Last Exorcism), will be distributed by Anchor Bay Films. The film was acquired at the Toronto International Film Festival as part of a new strategy to buy existing films as well as co-producing new ones. It will screen next at the Sarasota Film Festival in Florida in April.
