The UK Sun is reporting that WWE waited to announce the reason for the release because the company wanted to review the wellness policy and then decide on how to handle the issue, publicly, since it was only his second violation of the WWE Wellness Program.
This was the first wellness policy violation that did not see a press release sent out to the media.
