— Last night’s episode of iMPACT! Wrestling scored a 0.97 (1.0) cable rating, with 1.31 million viewers. That number is down slightly from last week’s 0.98 and 1.39 million viewers. It’s the lowest viewer average since September 2010 and the first time the show has done sub-1.00 ratings back-to-back since June 24th and July 1st, 2010 when TNA was recovering from reversing its move to Mondays.
The show ranked #35 in overall viewers among cable TV shows for the night, #17 among males 18 – 34 and #14 among males 18 – 49. The competition was much the same as last week, with Swamp People ranking #1 with 4.4 million viewers and NBA on TNT garnering 3.4 million viewers.
By comparison from last year, iMPACT! was down from a 1.17 rating and 1.54 million viewers, though the key demo ratings were similar.
— Spike TV will be re-airing this week’s episode of iMPACT! Wrestling before next week’s episode airs. Dixie Carter revealed the news via Twitter, citing “technical difficulties” that occurred during Thursday’s episode. She was referring to several glitches that caused the feed to cut out while going in and out of commercial.
The episode will air from 7 – 9 PM on Thursday, before the new episode airs in the regular timeslot.
