David Otunga In Court Today – Not Backstage At RAW

According to WGNTV.com David Otunga was in a Chicago courtroom Monday morning for Day 1 of the Jennifer Hudson family murder trial. William Balfour is accused of murdering Hudson’s mother, brother, and 7-year-old nephew. Otunga was in the courtroom gallery in support of his fiancée, Jennifer Hudson, who took the stand today. Otunga is not advertised for tonight’s three hour Raw, but WWE typically does not officially list Otunga for TV or house shows.

UPDATE: The following is from TMZ.com: Jennifer Hudson dissolved into tears as she testified at the trial of the man accused of murdering her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew. Hudson broke down when the prosecutor asked her about the last time she saw her family. She said her last visit was just days before the slaughter. Hudson broke down again when the prosecutor handed her a photo of her mom. Most relevant to the case … Hudson told jurors no one in her family wanted her sister to date William Balfour, the man accused of the triple murder. She said she always tried to keep her distance from Balfour.

UPDATE x 2: David Otunga is not at the Joe Louis Arena for tonight’s RAW. That’s not to say he won’t be there later today but as of 3:00EST, he was not at the arena.
