Shane Douglas ended up going back and forth from the TNA TV tapings in late May and almost barely made his scheduled appearance for the following night. Several personal issues at home forced Douglas to rush back after the May 25 tapings to Pittsburgh. Douglas then flew back from Pittsburgh to Orlando for his match with AJ Styles and was scheduled to arrive around 3:00 p.m. ET. Weather problems prevented him from getting in at that time and he didn’t arrive in Orlando until close to 8:00 p.m. ET. Douglas ended up arriving at the Impact Zone less than 10 minutes before he had to go out in the ring for his match with Styles.
Bobby Lashley is expected to start talks with TNA about a return to the company following his fight with Bob Sapp next Saturday (June 27).
