NWA Legends Fanfest Postponed
NWA Legends fanfest promotor Greg Price announced this afternoon that the annual NWA Legends Fanfest has been postponed for this year and will return in 2013.
Price contacted VIP ticket holders for the event and explained that he had been dealing with a medical issue for the last 4-5 months and was instructed that he needed to undergo a procedure that could not be delayed. He also stated that he procedure and recovery would prevent him from properly promoting and running the event.
Price first launched the event in 2004, and the show has been held in Charlotte, Atlanta, Washington D.C. and Fayetteville. Numerous names from the Mid-Atlantic, NWA, WWF and Memphis wrestling, along with names such as Roddy Piper, The Four Horsemen, Bret Hart, Bruno Sammartino, Sting and Mick Foley had been a part of the event in the past.
