— This week’s edition of WWE RAW drew a 3.2 cable rating, with 4,622,000 viewers. The show did a huge 3.45 (3.5) cable rating, with 4,981,000 viewers in the normal timeslot of 9-11EST. That is way up from the last few weeks. The show did hours of 2.73 (2.7), 3.34 (3.3) and 3.55 (3.6). It’s safe to say that Vince McMahon was a big hit. WWE’s theory has always been that when ratings are down …. you bring back a McMahon!
— The Vince McMahon “concussion” story on WWE.com is all storyline related. Vince is not injured. It seems like WWE.com is doing at least one “injury” angle per week these days.
— As noted earlier today, WWE SmackDown and NXT will be taped tonight in Manchester, NH. John Cena (post-show dark match) and Triple H (non-televised appearance) are both advertised for the show. Expect at least one more WWE No Way Out match to be announced at tonight’s TV tapings. We’ll have live coverage here on the website tonight. We’ll also have a correspondent who will be LIVE in the arena and calling into WZR Radio tonight. The show airs from 8-10EST at WZROnline.com/chat Look for the live links to be posted here on this website (main newsboard) around 7EST! We hope to see you later tonight!
