As I exclusively broke last night on WZR Radio, the launch of the WWE Network in the fall of 2012 is in jeopardy of not happening. WWE continues to crunch numbers and they continue to get a negative projection of how things would go if the company launches in 2012, given the current state of WWE business.
At this time, WWE is more likely to continue signing deals like the one announced this week with ION television for WWE Main Event.
WWE had originally projected a launch date of April 1st for the network, which was the same day as WrestleMania 28. That got pushed back to a tentative fall date, but at this time, 2013 may be a more realistic time to launch the network.
