Backstage Praise For Tyson Kidd’s Push, Cole Speaks

— There are a lot of people excited behind-the-scenes about Tyson Kidd’s push and his involvement in Sunday’s Money in the Bank match. He is considered by many to be one of the most underutilized on the roster. Word is that Kidd is determined to steal the show.

There was actually some concern that WWE would run an injury angle to get Kidd out of the match.

— New ROH TV champion Adam Cole was interviewed by The Do Your Job Wrestling Hour, live at the 2012 Maryland Championship Wrestling Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup on Saturday. Here are highlights:

On wrestling Adam Pierce for the NWA Heavyweight Title: “When I had the opportunity to wrestle then champion Adam Pierce I didn’t really realize how badly I wanted to hold that title until I got there that night…I certainly want to go after that championship again”

On the reemergence of NWA: “It’s actually a lot like professional wrestling as a whole…things get really really hot at times and then lose some attention and come back around..I would live another shot at that 12 lbs of gold”

On winning the MCW Shamrock Cup: “I’ve had a long history with Maryland Championship Wrestling..it is one of the first places I really started to cut my teeth so to walk away with the cup is kind of a full circle moment for me”
