After the Night of Champions PPV went off the air, Jeff Hardy celebrated and held the belt up in the corners. CM Punk slowly returned to the ring and glared at Hardy. Punk offered his hand and Hardy, after hesitation and nearly leaving the ring, finally shook it. Punk quietly returned to the locker room.
Hardy made his way around ringside for a long time, signing autographs and celebrating. WWE told him to grab a facepainted kid from the second row. Hardy did, brought the child in the ring and they did Hardy’s dance together while the child wore the World title belt.
