— Over the weekend, Davey Richards, Tony Kozina and Kyle O’Reilly were all slated to appear for APW in Iowa. They reportedly showed up late to the event and the card had been restructured under the assumption they wouldn’t be making the appearance. When they did show up, the story is that they allegedly got into their gear, were given their pay, then left and drove off without working. One story making the rounds is that the promoter was out $350. Richards has since been “liking” references to the issue made on his Facebook page. Hmmm.
— New Japan Pro Wrestling held a press conference on Monday for their annual G1 Climax tournament, which begins August 1st. MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Lance Hoyt and Karl Anderson were a part of the event.
