Another Maryse Update, Foley/Trina, HBK’s Return, More

Former WWE Divas Champion Maryse underwent surgery this week to repair her knee cap. She flew to Birmingham, Alabama to see Dr. James Andrews and the surgery is believed to be a success. Maryse confirmed on her Twitter page that she was in Birmingham and later wrote, “I am bionic,” “ready to run the canyon! yeeeaahhh right! haha” and “my doctor is the best in the world.”

For several months, Mick Foley and indy valet Trina Michaels have been going back and forth, mentioning each other in interviews, blogs, etc. Foley has even talked about Trina on TNA’s “Spin Cycle” show. Now, the two will have their first ever face-to-face meeting, this Saturday August 1st, for independent promotion “RCW” in San Antonio, TX. The RCW show marks a rare indy appearance for Foley, and will also include LAX member Hernandez.

Shawn Michaels is featured on the Summerslam poster now on sale at WWEShop.com. WWE continues to use Michaels’ image to promote SummerSlam on August 23rd, a sign that he’ll be returning to television sooner than later.
